dc.description.abstract | Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a highly prevalent disease about which we still have little knowledge. Its pathophysiology is complex, involving multiple anatomic and functional mechanisms. CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) is considered the best treatment but has low adherence. Usage of CPAP for 4 h per night was considered adequate, but seems to be ineffective. | en |
